Women Ahead’s talent for collaborating with big business celebrated at national awards

We have won two awards for our work in collaboration with our founding partner Ricoh UK this week.

The Corporate Engagement Awards, which celebrates the best in corporate collaborations and communications, awarded Women Ahead and Ricoh UK Gold for Best combined programme, and Silver for Best collaborative approach.

Liz Dimmock, CEO and founder of Women Ahead said: “It’s a real privilege to have won this award, which celebrates the core principles we stand for - working openly and in collaboration to achieve the best results for the individual and company. We’d like to thank our fantastic partner Ricoh UK for being such an inspiring and game-changing partner.”

The Corporate Engagement Awards highlight exemplary work across the corporate engagement sphere, particularly in CSR. These sixth annual awards considered partnerships from organisations across a whole host of industries and insights. The CEA 2016 judging panel included leading UK experts from sectors including government, NGOs, energy and finance.

Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Communicate magazine which runs the award said: “The Corporate Engagement Awards are dedicated to those companies and organisations which help people collaborate and work in partnerships to achieve a brighter future. There’s good in business, and tonight we are celebrating it.”
