Moving Ahead and Women Ahead is a purpose-led specialist diversity and development organisation that develops leaders in sport and in business. With the support of our founding partner, Ricoh UK, we work as a team of global mentoring and development experts supported by first-class programme managers, researchers and communications experts.

Since launching in 2014, we have worked with more than 160 organisations across sport and business, including many of the FTSE 100 and all the big four global accountancy practices. We have supported close to 10,000 mentors and mentees. About the role

To manage the company’s online social presence. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications manager, you will create engaging content for the company’s online presence, including keeping the social media channels relevant and updates, creating content for the digital learning platform for our community and seeking out new social media opportunities.


  • Coordinate company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other relevant platforms

  • Create content for a digital learning platform which promotes interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages community participation

  • Assist on social media management with large projects, events and community management

  • Assist the Marketing and Communications manager in developing client campaigns

  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns, whilst analysing and altering schedules where necessary

  • Optimise content, using SEO and Google Analytics

  • Produce analytics reports for clients



  • A comprehensive understanding of social media platforms

  • Understanding of Mailchimp: sending campaigns and producing reports

  • Managing a consistent publishing schedule

  • Copy writing with a keen eye for detail

  • Editorial mindset with the ability to predict audience preferences

  • Be a team player who is easy to communicate with

  • Calm under pressure, and able to deal with many projects at once
